“Dawnland” Tree Tee Fundraiser for Maine Wabanaki Reach
I designed this “Tree Tee” in a fabric silkscreen workshop at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts this summer. After hand printing a tee shirt and receiving many compliments, I decided to create this Tree Tee Fundraiser for Maine Wabanaki Reach.
When you wear your “Tree Tee” remember that you are supporting a wonderful grass-roots organization in Maine dedicated to truth, reconciliation, and healing Wabanaki people and the land. My image of the spruce tree at dawn speaks to the meaning of the word Wabanaki which is “Dawnland.” And thanks to the help of my generous friend Catherine who is skilled in Photoshop, I am able to offer my Dawnland Tree design on a tee shirt of your choice.
