Greetings, Qi Friends!
I enjoy learning about celebrations around the world and, in particular, those that might inform our tai chi practice. Chinese New Year begins on February 11. 2021. It will be the Year of the Ox.
“Oxen are the hardworking animals in the background, intelligent and reliable, but never demanding praise.”

The Chinese New Year celebrates the passing of winter. For Chinese New Year, the Year of the Ox, I will share some special practices including Marrow Washing in the Four Directions. In doing these practices, we welcome the season of Seed Energy and New Beginnings. How wonderful to have a mid-winter ritual for welcoming spring!
***Please note, if you are a regular to our Friday morning practice group, we will begin a half-hour earlier on Friday February 12th. Our start time on the 12th will be 8:30 AM Eastern time.
****We will also continue First and Third Saturday morning tai chi practice from 9 to 10 AM Eastern time. Please message me through my contact form if you would like the Zoom link for either or both of these tai chi sessions. My “Healer Within” Tai Chi Easy™ practice groups are open to all by donation.
