Printmaking

I started making monoprints–one of a kind prints– while in graduate school as way to explore themes and motifs I was working on in the painting studio. Since that time I have done printmaking intermittently. When I joined Circling the Square Fine Art Press https://www.circlingthesquarepress.com/artists in 2008 I began my “Woods”, “Elements”, and “Memory” series. Beginning in 2014, we launched an international exchange between  Circling the Square Fine Art Press and Estamperia Quitena in Quito, Ecuador. For this exchange of prints addressing the environment and climate concerns, I created three relief prints in limited editions. These prints–Tide Pool, Swimmer, and Tree of Life Mosaic– are included in my printmaking portfolio.
