On Friday, November 22, 2008, the Frontier Cinema hosted an auction of artist decorated lunchboxes and other items to benefit MidCoast Hunger Prevention which operates a food bank and soup kitchen here in Brunswick, Maine. These photos show two sides of the lunchbox I decorated for the auction using painted paper collage and acrylic paint.
Robin, I didn’t know about your blog and am enjoying it so much! Lots of things you have done that I just love and didn’t catch as you did them, all arranged so well, and in a way that shows the strong currents running through your life and work-nature and the environment. creativity and children, mothering, community and helping. I’m seeing the great value in the artist herself choosing what matters most, naming it, showing it, and creating this record of the unending flow of her creation. Thank you for this earnest and real work around your wonderful art! love, Emily
