Robin’s “Our Foremothers” Exhibit Opens on Friday, 4-6 pm

On the heels of Mother’s Day weekend, we have planned an exciting weekend to celebrate our Foremothers. I am happy to announce that my Stories of Our Foremothers exhibition opens at the Meetinghouse Arts Gallery on Friday May 19th from 4-6 PM. Meetinghouse Arts is located at 40 Main Street in Freeport. And please note the gallery hours for the weekend:10 AM-6 PM on Friday, 10 AM- 5 PM on Saturday, and NOON -4 PM on Sunday. Gallery phone: 207-865-0040

Update on Stage Events–Author talks canceled

As many of you know, we had two author talks planned for the evenings of May 19th and May 20th on the stage at Meetinghouse Arts. But due to low ticket sales, we had to cancel both Monica Wood and Rachael Cerrotti’s stage events. We are very grateful to both of these wonderful authors and to Lisa Redfern a gifted local singer/songwriter, for their willingness to share their talent with us in Freeport.

Foremothers Storytelling workshop is on!

I am happy to report that our storytelling workshop is going forward as scheduled on Saturday afternoon from 2-4 pm. Please join us to share stories of our Foremothers and learn about the art of storytelling. Although the event is free, donations will be gratefully accepted. And finally, if you register online in advance, I will be sending an email with some details about the workshop.
