Artist Residency at Acadia National Park

In April of 2016, I was invited to spend fourteen days living and working at the Schoodic Institute, part of Acadia National Park. These works emerged from my daily walks, forays into the woods, and time spend listening to the rhythm of the waves rolling into the cobble beaches. The Schoodic Penninsula, and all of Maine, were once home to the Wabanaki people. What a remarkable experience it was to spend time in this sacred place.
