The "Gilsland Farm" series of prints include images that are pure monoprints and images that have collage elements added after the print has dried. Gilsland Farm, a Maine Audubon sanctuary, is located along the Presumpscot Estuary in Falmouth, Maine. The contrast of salt marshes, farm fields, wooded areas, and big skies makes for a place that I find visually and spiritually uplifting. Being at Gilsland Farm reminds me of how much I cherish open spaces and how important it is to preserve them for ourselves and future generations.
