These pencil drawings were done on site at museums in New York City and abroad. An important part of my training at Parsons was to study masterworks. We spent one day each week in the museum copying from original masterworks. It was a privilege to spend time with the work of Rembrandt, Durer, Giotto, and others. When I am traveling, I bring sketching materials and still enjoy drawing in the galleries.
