Drawings

I have been drawing ever since I can remember. I carry a sketch book and use drawing to interpret my experience. This is a collection of drawings from observation. You can see landscape and figure drawings done on site and from the model. In the studio, I prefer to draw with vine charcoal because of the rich range of tonality and painterly qualities of this medium. I also enjoy working in pen and pencil and playing with linear pattern and texture.
